Intended use

This product is used to qualitatively detect the insulin-like growth factor binding protein -1 (IGFBP-1) in vaginal secretions of pregnant women.

Test principle

This product adopts the principle of Immunochromatographic assay. The test strip is composed of anti-human insulin-like growth factor binding protein-1 monoclonal antibody 1 coated in the detection area (T) of the strip, the anti-mouse polyclonal antibody coated in the control area (C) of the strip and the anti-human insulin-like growth factor binding protein-1 monoclonal antibody 2 coated in the colloidal gold. The principle of double antibody sandwich method and immunochromatographic assay is specially aimed at the insulin-like growth factor binding protein-1 in human amniotic fluid, so as to provide important reference for the diagnosis of premature rupture of fetal membranes.

Materials and Components

1. IGBPF-1 test cassette

2. Buffer: 10mM, PH=7.4 phosphate buffer.


4. Cotton swab.

Test Procedure

Storage conditions: 4 ℃ ~ 30 ℃, stored in dark and dry conditions, cryopreserved should be avoided.

Validity: the product is valid for 24 months. Use within 1 hour after opening

1. Specimen

The specimen for testing is the vaginal discharge or vaginal effluent liquid. Secreted specimen that was collected to the collection tubes should be tested within 1 day, and the best results are achieved when detected within 1 hour.

2. Testing

(1) Take the aluminum foil bag and buffer out from the package at room temperature.

(2) Open the aluminum foil bag, take out the test cassette, mark the specimens and patient's information. The detection should be completed in one hour after the test cassette taken out of foil pouch.

(3) Place the test cassette on the table, use the dropper to absorb and drop 3 drops of buffer into the test cassette on the desk.

3. Test Results

Read the result in 15 minutes.
